Nach kurzer Recherche können wir bestätigen, dass AMD mit der Radeon HD 4800-Serie das “ATi Radeon Graphics”-Logo in “ATi Radeon Premium Graphics” umändert. Dabei soll das alte Logo angeblich weiter für die Mittelklasse verbleiben. Damit ändert AMD die Logos nicht zum ersten Mal, bereits 2007 änderte man die Farbgebung.

Wie Quellen bestätigt haben, wird AMD anders als bei der Radeon HD 4870 bei dem schwächeren Modell, der Radeon HD 4850 keine Version mit GDDR5-Speicher anbieten.
